Since this long weekend was filled (nay, nearly squandered) with watching two complete seasons of Downton Abbey and painting a little in between, I have had plenty of time to contemplate some pretty amazing architecture. This image (taken from a view of the stairwell in Pratt/Hanson Hall on the campus of Huntingdon College) has grandeur more equivalent to the servant’s quarters at “the” Abbey. Furthermore I believe it is overworked, just like the household help. On the flip side, I, myself, am totally UNDERworked physically due to my choice of projects…and I was not paid for any!
